Control
Know about the peak twenty minutes before the meter does.
Maximum demand charges are set by a single bad interval. Peak Alerts forecasts the current demand block from live load, schedules and weather, and warns your team while there is still time to act, with a specific suggestion such as delaying a compressor start or staging a chiller.

What Peak Alerts does on a working day.
Interval forecast
A rolling forecast of the active demand block, updated every few seconds, so you see where the interval will close, not where it is now.
Suggested actions
Each alert comes with ranked options: which load to delay, by how long, and how much demand it removes. Your team chooses.
Load priorities
Mark loads as critical, flexible or deferrable. Production-critical equipment is never suggested for shedding.
Right person, right channel
Escalation from shift engineer to plant head, by site and by time of day, with acknowledgement tracking.
Optional automation
If you enable it, Ionvik can stage flexible loads through your BMS or PLC, only within the limits and time windows you approve.
Penalty record
Every near miss and every breach is logged with the action taken, so the next contract demand review has evidence behind it.
How it goes live at your site.
- 1
Set limits
Enter contracted demand, tariff blocks and the warning level you want, for example 90 percent.
- 2
Rank loads
Tag which machines can be delayed, staged or never touched, and for how long.
- 3
Get warned
Alerts arrive with a forecast closing value and the cheapest action to stay under the line.
- 4
Review
Monthly view of avoided penalties and the right contract demand for next year.
About Peak Alerts
Only if you enable it, and only with limits you set: which loads, for how long, and during which hours. Automatic control is off by default and every action is logged.
It depends on how fast your load moves. For most sites the forecast settles 10 to 20 minutes before the interval closes, which is enough time to delay a start or stage equipment.
Yes. A year of interval data shows how often you approach the limit and what the bill would have been at a different contracted value.
Yes. DG output is read alongside grid import so the forecast reflects the true grid draw.
