Savings Finder

found / month, sample site

The waste is already in your data. Savings Finder points at it.

Savings Finder learns the normal pattern of every metered load and flags what does not belong: compressors running through lunch, chillers fighting each other, base load that never drops at night, lines started an hour before the shift. Each finding comes with the evidence, an estimated monthly saving and a suggested fix.

Run an ultrasonic leak survey on the paint shop header and isolate the weld line drop when idle. Compressors carry 38 kW with production stopped.

What Savings Finder does on a working day.

Sv-1

Night and weekend load

Base load that should fall when the site is closed but does not, split by feeder so you know where to walk.

Sv-2

Compressed-air leaks

Compressor duty during non-production hours reveals leak load. Leaks commonly waste a fifth or more of compressor output.

Sv-3

Idle machines

Machines drawing standby power between batches or after the shift ends, with the hours and the cost.

Sv-4

Poor scheduling

Lines, HVAC and lighting starting earlier or running later than the shift, and starts that stack into a demand peak.

Sv-5

HVAC and chillers

Simultaneous heating and cooling, chillers running at low part-load, and setpoints that drift.

Sv-6

Verified savings

After a fix, savings are measured against a weather and production adjusted baseline, so the number holds up in a review.

Process

How it goes live at your site.

  1. 1

    Learn

Two to four weeks of data builds a baseline for every load, shift and day type.

  2. 2

    Flag

Deviations are grouped into findings with evidence charts and a cost per month.

  3. 3

    Fix

Assign findings to the right engineer, attach notes and close them when done.

  4. 4

    Verify

Ionvik tracks the actual saving after the change and reports it alongside the estimate.

Trust notes
  • Savings estimates are based on your data and labelled as estimates. Actual savings are tracked after changes are made.
  • Automatic controls are off by default and work only within limits you approve.
  • Your energy data belongs to you. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and never sold.
Questions

About Savings Finder

The first findings usually appear within two weeks of data. The free savings report uses one month of bills and meter data to estimate what is recoverable before you commit.

No. Before a fix they are estimates based on your data and are labelled as estimates. After a fix, Ionvik measures the actual saving against the baseline and reports both.

Yes. Upload PDF bills and Ionvik extracts units, demand, power factor and charges, then reconciles them with meter data.

Findings get sharper with more meters, but base load, scheduling and demand findings work from the main meter alone.
